Dermal Fillers

Dermal Fillers

What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers also known as injectables, are soft tissue filler substances made of hyaluronic acid approved by the FDA for use in helping create a smoother/ fuller appearance in areas of the face including the eyes, cheeks, chin, jawline, temples, lips, and hands. The majority of dermal fillers are naturally absorbed over time and may need to be repeated to maintain the desired effect. The length of time and effect depend on the filler material and the area injected. If results are undesired, hyaluronic acid based fillers may be dissolved with an antiserum.
